Pre Operative Pastoral Care

As my wife Basia checked in for a total hip replacement we were both aware of the real risks and were anxious. Having lost a dear friend on the table several years ago we did not take this event lightly. Upon entering registration the first person my wife, Basia Price encountered was the UC Pastoral Care worker Rev Frances Sana (sp?) Her pre- operative prayer was moving meaningful and timely. We wish to thank her and inform her that the procedure and initial recovery have gone better than expected. Now I wish to request a prayer of Thanksgiving ! Perhaps Rev Sana can take this opportunity to explore the lighter side of her job.
